The Hand Warmer (Classic)

Yes. The hand warmers are strong enough to radiate heat through your preferred mousepad.

Your mouse will work fine directly on the surface too, but feel free to use your own.

It's super simple. Unroll it and lay it flat on your desk. Plug the cable into the unit on the hand warmer and plug the other end into the wall. Turn it on using the touch activated control and select your desired heat level.

You’ll feel your hand warmer beginning to heat almost instantly and it will fully warm up in under 15 minutes.

No. At 80w, it uses 18 times less electricity per hour than the average space heater.

This means it costs less than 0.02 an hour to run, even at the highest heat (calculated using an average electricity price of 20c/kWh).

Yes. Our hand warmers have edge to edge heating. They heat up uniformly across the entire surface. So even when your hands are off your keyboard and mouse, you can keep them warm anywhere on the warmer.

Put simply, yes. We've spent a lot of time and money ensuring hand warmers are safe. They've been rigorously tested, by ourselves and by accredited testing laboratories, to ensure they conform with electrical product safety standards, electromagnetic standards and product material safety standards. We've also had these tests checked and verified by an additional third party to ensure our product meets all safety and regulatory requirements.

No it won't. While they can get pretty warm (ours is 55c on the highest setting), it's not so hot that it'll will damage your things.

With that being said, we do not recommend:

• Leaving items with large batteries directly on the hand warmer - such as phones and laptops (wireless mice are fine).
• Leaving heavy thick items (like big books) on top of the hand warmer. It may cause a very hot spot.
• Using it on a glass desk or table. Putting the warm hand warmer on cold glass can cause thermal fracturing. It hasn't happened to us in testing, but that doesn't mean it can't happen. So probably not a great idea.

The surface is water and stain resistant. So if you spill anything on it, just wipe it off with a damp cloth and get back to it!

Out of the box heated desktop pads might have a slight new car/plastic-ky smell.

Don't worry, it goes away 12-24 hours after laying your hand warmer flat on your desk.

They are rolled and packed inside a sturdy cardboard box.

Yes. The hand warmer has an auto off feature. By default it is 4 hours but you can change to 2h, 4h, h, 8h, 10h or 12h.

Our hand warmers are made from durable PVC leather. This ensures they can withstand hours and hours of daily use. The material also ensures they are water and stain resistant.
